1. Before starting
- Confirm the kit label matches your order reference, colour reference, texture, and quantity.
- Inspect every container for freezing, leakage, separation, broken seals, or transit damage.
- Bring materials to the storage and application temperature shown on the label.
- Check the weather forecast and protect the area from rain, freezing, strong wind, direct extreme heat, dust, and accidental contact.
- Use the personal protective equipment listed on the product label and safety data sheet.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area and wet material.
StuccoKit is intended for the small cosmetic surface touch-up described in the approved assessment. Contact support before proceeding when the delivered contents do not match the order or the touch-up changed materially after the assessment.
2. Prepare the surface
- Photograph the untouched area for your records.
- Protect nearby windows, trim, paving, plants, and finished surfaces.
- Remove dust, dirt, chalking, loose finish, and friable particles using the method allowed by the supplied product instructions.
- Do not apply over oil, grease, active contamination, wet material, ice, or loose debris.
- Allow a cleaned surface to dry as required before application.
- Mask the repair boundary only when the kit instructions recommend it; hard tape lines can make a touch-up more visible.
3. Mix and test a small amount
Open, stir, mix, or dilute only as the kit-specific directions state. Do not add paint, water, cement, aggregate, pigment, solvent, or another product unless the supplied instructions expressly permit it.
Apply a small test in an inconspicuous part of the intended area. Check:
- Colour under natural and neutral light
- Texture scale and direction
- Tool pressure and material thickness
- Drying behaviour
- Whether the boundary can be blended without a hard edge
Wet material can look different from cured material. Wait for the instructed evaluation time before deciding whether the test is acceptable.
4. Apply the touch-up
- Use clean tools.
- Apply the smallest amount needed to fill or cover the cosmetic touch-up.
- Keep the material thickness within the supplied limits.
- Work from the centre toward the surrounding finish when feathering is permitted.
- Avoid spreading material far beyond the affected area solely to hide a mismatch; excessive coverage can create a larger visible patch.
- Stop before the material skins over or passes its working time.
- Remove masking at the stage specified in the instructions.
5. Recreate the texture
Texture is influenced by the tool, motion, pressure, timing, viscosity, and aggregate. Use the supplied texture tool or the recommended clean tool.

6. Protect, cure, and paint
- Protect the touch-up for the full cure period stated in the instructions.
- Do not expose it to rain, freezing, washing, impact, or premature coating.
- Do not judge the final colour while the material is still wet.
- Clean tools and dispose of waste as directed.
- Keep the labelled container and order reference until the result has been evaluated.
For flat-white orders, wait for the stated cure time before painting. Use a compatible exterior coating and follow the coating manufacturer’s preparation and application instructions. Paint the broader architectural area when a uniform painted appearance is required; painting only the small patch may still leave a visible boundary.
7. After the touch-up
Photograph the result after curing under similar lighting to the original photo. Contact StuccoKit before applying more material if the result appears inconsistent with the confirmed order or supplied instructions.
8. Technical documents
The final commercial kit should include or link to the applicable product label, technical data sheet, safety data sheet, storage limits, coverage, working time, cure time, and disposal information. Contact support when any required document is missing.
